I know a couple who started with a regular caravan park/campsite and later diversified it with yurts and geodesic domes with luxury amenities. Glamping was a better reflection of their personalities within the industry, they claimed. When I last spoke to the folks, they spoke about buying more domes (larger ones) and expanding into glamping even more. Their glamping site was then booked to the last unit – until the end of 2015.
